Dermamelan Vaginal Lightening is a depigmentation and rejuvenating treatment for intimate areas. Dermamelan is a highly effective medical peel formulated to reduce pigmentation. A combination of acids and topical ingredients can be used to treat acne scarring, sun damage, and hyperpigmentation from melasma to reveal healthy, even skin. Dermamelan™ is safe to use on all skin types.

What to expect?

In preparation for the treatment, the area is cleansed, and a chemical solution or mask is applied to remove the top layer of skin. The area is covered with a brownish-coloured mask. There is no pain associated with the Dermamelan mask. After 4-12 hours, the mask is gently washed off. There may be pinkness/redness, tightness, irritability, or swelling after treatment. The patient will receive instructions on how to protect themselves from the sun, clean their skin, and moisturise after treatment. Skin should not be picked, rubbed, or scratched. After Dermamelan, maintenance therapy is required for 3-6 months.

Is there any downtime (recovery time) and aftercare?

As with most non-invasive treatments, if there is any downtime or recovery time, it is minimal. Patients usually return to work or resume their daily life immediately.

However, we do recommend that you:

avoid exercise for 12 hours
do not use heat treatments on the area for up to 7 days
protect your skin from excessive UV exposure for 28 days
use a suitable SPF and antioxidant protection for your skin

What Results Can I Expect From Dermamelan Intimate depigmentation?
