How does IPL work?

Intensive Pulse Light (IPL) Skin Rejuvenation is one of the most effective methods of treating skin damage in a non-invasive way. IPL is not a laser, but a broad wavelength light that is pulsed onto the skin. It can treat many conditions at the same time from ageing to Rosacea. Very little pain or discomfort is experienced allowing you to get back to normal right away.

For rosacea, IPL light therapy uses wavelengths to absorb Oxyhemoglobin found in the blood causing redness. Heat from the IPL destroys capillaries causing rosacea.

Results can vary, you may need multiple sessions for best results.
