Your First Appointment

When you arrive at our clinic, you will be warmly welcomed by our clinic team and provided with a detailed medical questionnaire.

This initial form allows us to understand your:

• Medical history
• Skin concerns and goals
• Previous treatments
• Lifestyle factors that may affect treatment outcomes

Your practitioner will carefully review this information before your consultation begins, ensuring your care is fully personalised from the start.

CONSULTATION process

All new clients begin with a complimentary consultation before treatment.

During this appointment, an experienced practitioner with a minimum of three years’ experience in aesthetics will:

• Assess your skin or hair concerns in detail
• Discuss your goals and expectations
• Recommend a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your needs
• Explain suitable technologies and treatment options

Where required, we will also perform a skin analysis and patch test to ensure safety and compatibility, particularly for laser and energy-based treatments.

Our goal is to ensure you feel fully informed, confident, and supported before starting any treatment journey.

CONSENT and treatment transparency

We are committed to safe, ethical, and transparent care.

Before treatment, you will receive clear pre-treatment information outlining:

• Procedure details
• Expected results
• Potential risks and side effects
• Aftercare requirements

During your appointment, your practitioner will explain the treatment step-by-step and answer any questions.

Once you are fully comfortable, you will be asked to provide informed consent. This ensures you understand the procedure and agree to proceed with full awareness of the treatment process.

PATCH TESTING and Safety protocols

Patch testing is a mandatory safety step for laser hair removal and most laser-based treatments.

This involves applying a small number of test pulses to the treatment area at least 24–48 hours before your main session. This allows us to:

• Confirm skin compatibility
• Determine optimal laser settings
• Reduce the risk of adverse reactions
• Help you understand treatment sensations and recovery

We also assess your skin type using professional grading systems to ensure treatments are safely calibrated for your individual needs.

Important Safety Guidance

If the treatment area has been exposed to sun or tanning beds, you must inform the clinic before your appointment. Sun-exposed skin may require a waiting period of at least six weeks before proceeding with laser treatment, followed by repeat patch testing to ensure safety.

SAME DAY TREATMENT

While we strongly recommend beginning with a consultation first, selected treatments may be available on the same day for suitable clients.

Treatments that may be performed on the same visit include:

• HydraFacial
• Oxygen Facial
• CoolSculpting
• Dermapen microneedling (subject to suitability)

For laser hair removal, a patch test is always required at least 24–48 hours prior to treatment. Same-day laser treatment is not performed without prior testing.

This approach ensures safety while offering flexibility for clients ready to begin treatment immediately.

aFTERCARE

Your care continues beyond the clinic visit.

After treatment, we provide:

• Detailed aftercare instructions tailored to your procedure
• Product recommendations to support healing and results
• Follow-up support from our clinical team
• Ongoing advice for long-term skin health
