Your First Appointment

Upon your arrival, our clinic manager will warmly welcome you and provide you with a medical questionnaire. We encourage you to share detailed information about yourself on this form. The more we know about your health and background, the better we can tailor our offerings to suit your needs. After you’ve completed the questionnaire, your practitioner will carefully review your responses before inviting you into your consultation. This meticulous process ensures we’re fully prepared to meet your specific concerns and goals.

CONSULTATION

Before starting on your treatment journey, we invite all new clients to a complimentary initial consultation. Our team of practitioners, each boasting a minimum of three years of experience in aesthetics and skincare, are renowned experts in their field. They are dedicated to creating a bespoke treatment plan that aligns perfectly with your skin’s unique needs and your personal goals.

During your consultation, we will conduct a thorough assessment of your skin or hair, depending on your specific needs. If necessary, a patch test will be performed to ensure the utmost safety and compatibility with your skin. Our consultants will engage in a detailed discussion about your aspirations for your skin, crafting a personalized treatment plan designed to meet your exact requirements.

CONSENT PROCESS

We are committed to providing treatments that are not only safe and effective but also delivered promptly for all our clients. A key part of our approach involves offering clear and comprehensive information to assist you in making well-informed decisions about your treatment options. Before your scheduled appointment, you will receive detailed information via email about the specific treatment you have chosen.

During your treatment session, your consultant will provide a thorough overview of the procedure and address any inquiries you might have. We prioritize your comfort and understanding above all else. If you feel confident and ready to proceed, you will be asked to sign a consent form. This form is a declaration of your understanding and agreement with the information we’ve provided, ensuring you are fully informed and comfortable moving forward with your treatment.

PATCH-TESTING

To ensure the highest safety and effectiveness of your laser hair removal treatment, we require a mandatory patch test to be conducted at least 24 hours before your main treatment. This process involves administering a few test pulses of laser on the target area. The objectives are twofold: firstly, to determine the most effective treatment intensity tailored to your needs, and secondly, to confirm that the laser settings are perfectly matched to your skin type.

Additionally, the patch test serves as an introductory experience to the laser treatment itself, allowing you to familiarise yourself with the sensation and set realistic expectations regarding the recovery process. This crucial step is integrated into your complimentary consultation day, ensuring that everything is aligned for your comfort and confidence. Following a successful patch test, you will be able to schedule your laser hair removal appointment.

Exposing the treatment area to either the sun or a tanning booth in between laser treatments will increase the risk of adverse skin reactions (blisters, scabbing, skin discolourations). If the area has been exposed, you must inform the clinic prior to arranging your next laser treatment. You will need to wait a minimum six weeks before arranging a short appointment for test patches on the exposed areas at least 24hours before your intended laser appointment. This is so that your skin can be assessed and we can proceed with your treatment safely.

Same Day Treatments

We highly recommend that all our clients begin their journey with a complimentary consultation before proceeding with any treatments. This initial consultation is a critical step, allowing you the opportunity to thoroughly understand the proposed treatments and to return for your first session with confidence, fully informed and ready to start your journey with Premier Laser & Skin.

For clients interested in laser hair removal, it is mandatory to undergo a patch test at least 48 hours before the commencement of your laser treatments. This is to ensure your skin shows no adverse reactions and that the laser settings are precisely tailored to your skin type, guaranteeing both safety and effectiveness.

Furthermore, we offer the flexibility of receiving certain treatments, such as HydraFacial, CoolSculpting, Oxygen Facial and Dermapen, on the same day as your consultation. This option is designed for those who are ready to proceed immediately, making it convenient to combine consultation and treatment into a single visit.

Aftercare

Following your session, we provide you with essential information on how to care for the treated area, recommend home care products tailored to your specific needs, and conduct follow-up calls to monitor your progress. Our dedication to your well-being extends beyond your visits; our customer service team is readily available seven days a week to assist you with any inquiries or concerns you might have before or after your treatment.
