Step 2. Treatment
Here’s what you can anticipate during the procedure with one of our skilled practitioners:
- Thoroughly cleanse your skin using an appropriate cleanser.
- Mark the areas undergoing treatment with a white pencil to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Utilise a cooling device alongside the laser to maintain the area’s coolness throughout the procedure.
- Both you and the practitioner will wear protective eyewear for the duration of the treatment.
- Once the laser machine is ready, it will be meticulously moved over the designated skin area and activated.
- The treatment session will vary from 10 to 90 minutes, depending on factors like the size of the treated area, your gender, and the extent of hair removal desired.
Step 3. Aftercare
After the process, it’s common to observe skin redness and mild swelling around each treated hair follicle in the specified area. The redness is expected to endure for approximately 2-3 days, and the treated area might resemble the sensation of a sunburn for a few hours post-treatment.
To alleviate any potential discomfort, we offer a soothing aloe vera gel. This cooling gel provides a calming effect to the treated area, helps maintain skin moisture, and supports a smooth recovery process.
