Laser Hair Removal Preparation Guide

By Mary Basiadima, 21 January 2015

Laser hair removal is becoming increasingly popular due to the long term results it offers as well as the time that it saves in not having to remove unwanted hair on a daily basis.

However there a few basic rules that should be followed in order for you to get the most out of your laser hair removal treatments. Make sure that you are fully prepared and have done your research before you book your first appointment.

Avoid Retin A Skin care Products

For example you should stay well clear of retin A products as these make your skin more sensitive and cause it to react to the laser. This can be easily avoided by taking a look at the back of the skincare products at the ingredients label.

Avoid Waxing, Plucking And Using An Epilator

This one is very important – if you want to get the very best out of your Laser hair removal treatments then waxing, plucking or using an epilator is out of the question. If you have used any of these recently then you should allow for three to four weeks before having your treatment.
